My Hero Academia came to an end a few months ago, but Kohei Horikoshi prepared a surprise for fans in the final volume of the series – a new epilogue, the action of which takes place right after the last chapter of the manga. This is to conclude the story and reveal a bit more about what the reality of young heroes looks like after finishing school and going pro.

From this epilogue, we learn what the new hero ranking looks like.

New ranking of heroes in My Hero Academia

  • 1. Mirio
  • 2. Shoto
  • 3. Mt. Lady
  • 4. Kamui Woods
  • 5. Best Jeanist
  • 6. Mirko
  • 7. Nejire
  • 8. Wash
  • 9. Shoji
  • 10. Monoma
  • 11. Fatgum
  • 12. Kirishima
  • 13. Iida
  • 14. Honenuki
  • 15. Bakugo
  • 16. Inasa
  • 17. Tokoyami
  • 18. Tamaki
  • 19. Momo
  • 20. Shindo

As you can see, not everyone managed to fulfill their dream of reaching the top. For instance, Bakugo aimed for this and finished in fifteenth place, meaning he didn't even make it into the top 10, which surprised MHA fans. Of the people who were students before the time skip, Mirio and Shoto managed to get to the top. They occupy the first two places, ahead of heroes with more experience. However, their positions aren't surprising, both had the predisposition to be the best. As for Ochaco Uraraka, one of the main characters in MHA, she made it to the top 20, ranking exactly 24th.

If anyone is surprised by the absence of Deku on the list, it's because the epilogue takes place shortly after he received his armor and returned to being a hero. He is just at the beginning of his journey and needs to rebuild his reputation before he can make it to the ranking.
