Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord's gameplay video shows off new game features
A new gameplay video from Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord reveals some interesting features, such as the new character editor, refreshed graphics, and improved game mechanics.
Fans of the successful Mount & Blade series can enjoy a new gamplay video from the upcoming sequel. A playable version of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord was presented last weekend at PC Gamer Weekender in London. First, developers from TaleWorlds showed off a really impressive character editor (especially if you remember the one offered by the original game). We can also admire the refreshed, although familiar game map, some convenient UI changes, as well as improved battlefields and animations together with significantly refined graphics.
As for the gameplay itself, we can notice an evolution of the well-proven mechanics from the previous games. However, there are also some interesting new features. One of them is the crime system, which lets you fight crime in your cities or, if you prefer, become a lord of the local criminal underground yourself. Another thing worth mentioning is the improved command system – during battles you can specifically point the place where you want a formation to stand.
TaleWorlds confirmed that Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is going to be released this year, but there is no telling when exactly.
