To celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the launch of the Morrowind Rebirth mod, the developers have released the latest version, numbered 5.4.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Tomorrow, Morrowind Rebirth mod will celebrate its 10th birthday;
  2. On this occasion the devs released a new version, introducing a lot of new features.

Morrowind Rebirth celebrates its 10th anniversary tomorrow. The mod's creators prepared a new version on this occasion, which was released on Friday. What new features have appeared in version 5.4?

The list of fixes is extremely long, so we will focus on the most important things. There's still quite a lot of them. New locations have been refreshed: Ebonheart, Maar Gan, Balmora, Gnaar Mok, Tel Aruhn, Dagon Fel and Sadrith Mora. Creators added a new enemy (Silver Saint), items (Cephalopod Gauntlets, Silver Saint Shield, and Voroyn's Ring, among others), and four spells (Burning Touch, Freezing Touch, Poisonous Touch, and Shocking Touch).

In addition, many issues related to NPC scripting, collision detection, and correct quest completion have been fixed. The full list along with screenshots can be found on the project's official page at moddb.com. The latest version takes less than 204 MB.

Morrowind Rebirth is an ideal choice for those who have finished The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, but would like to return to the game and taste some new content. Across a decade of work on the project, the creators managed to not only refresh the familiar world, but also add a lot of new locations, enemies, items and quests.
