Minecraft Legends Launches; New Game From Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak Devs
Today will see the release of Minecraft Legends, the latest spin-off of the hit brand. The game will launch on PC and all major consoles simultaneously.
In a few hours, we will see the debut of Minecraft Legends, a spin-off of Mojang's hit, developed by Blackbird Interactive, studio well-known for Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak and Hardspace: Shipbreaker.
- The game will debut today on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
- The PC version will be sold on Steam and Microsoft Store
- The release for Xbox consoles is priced at $39.99., same as on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo Switch
- Digital versions will be unlocked at 6 p.m. CET.
- In addition to the standard edition, a Deluxe Edition is also available, which offers a DLC with an additional skin pack.
- The PC and Xbox editions will simultaneously be available through Game Pass subscriptions.
Many reviews have already appeared online and they are quite positive. On OpenCritic the title has currently an average rating of 73%. The game is praised for its fresh take on the brand - mainly thanks to mechanics that combine elements of RTS and action games. It is criticized mainly for its shallow gameplay.
