Mike Pondsmith Gets a Character in Cyberpunk 2077; New Screenshots
The creator of the Cyberpunk 2020 RPG system, Mike Pondsmith, will play one of the characters in CD Projekt RED's upcoming RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. Several new screenshots from the game have also appeared online.
In an interview for Original Xbox Magazine (via Games Radar), Mike Pondsmith, creator of the Cyberpunk 2020 universe and RPG system, revealed that he will play one of the characters in Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt RED studio offered him such an opportunity knowing that his presence would certainly please fans of the universe. Unfortunately, the creator of Cyberpunk 2020 could not - or did not want to - reveal any additional details.
"I have a role. I actually recorded for one role, but they came up with a different one for me, but I can't tell you much more than that. And I'm telling you that because there are a lot of fans who are going, 'He better be in the game somewhere.' So I'm in the game. I'm figuring what happens is, you know, at some point, [Johnny Silverhand] is playing his guitar and I'll come out and play my bass," Mike Pondsmith said with a laugh.
In the latest issue of OXM we can take a look at two completely new screenshots from the discussed production. Admittedly, they present themselves... very climatic.
Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will be released on April 16, 2020
