Microsoft Reveals New Accessories for Xbox Series S/X

Microsoft has officially presented new accessories for its next-gen consoles. Among other things, another color version of the controller was shown.

Is it too blue to be true...?

Xbox's family of accessories will soon be enriched with more members. The Redmond giant has announced an upgraded controller in a new color variant. From now on it will also be available in blue. Taking into account the associations that this new colour brings it's a very interesting marketing decision.

Apart from purely aesthetic changes, the d-pad has been improved, the handles have been covered with special material increasing the comfort of use and a button responsible for taking screenshots after pressing or video clips after holding down has been added. Those who are unconvinced by the new features will be pleased to know that the previous version of the device will be compatible with Xbox Series S/X.

...but why not a green one?

The offer will also be enriched with wireless PC adapter (lovers of all kinds of cables can still connect the controller with a standard USB-C cable). In addition, there will also be a battery for the pad, which can be charged while playing.

The launch of all accessories will take place simultaneously with the appearance of Microsoft's ninth generation, on November 10, this year. The new controller will cost $59.99 (same as the version with USB-C cable), the set with the adapter is priced at $60, and the battery with USB-C cable is to be available for $24.99. The accessories are to be compatible with PCs, Xbox One as well as Android and iOS based devices.
