Meet Your Maker Launches; Game Where Each Level is Made by Players
The developers of Dead by Daylight are once again aiming for a one-of-a-kind game. The shooter Meet Your Maker will meet the expectations of both fans of Doom-style FPS games and lovers of building bizarre structures.
Meet Your Maker, prepared by the creators of the excellent Dead by Daylight is an interesting mix of a fast-paced FPS with a fortress-building simulator. Unfortunately, making the project a tool for players and pinning hopes on the content they are to create may backfire on the creators.
Meet Your Maker, or creating hell... for other players
Meet Your Maker is a network action game. The gameplay here is divided into two parts. In the first, we take on the role of a fortress builder - our task is to design the most difficult level possible to pass, filled with traps and armed NPCs. The second part of the game is an attempt to complete the levels of other players - here the game resembles an FPS in the style of Doom, so it is fast and bloody. If the player manages to successfully complete the level, they will be rewarded.
The game from the well-known developer (Dead by Daylight, in the future Silent Hill: Ascension) currently has 12,000 watchers (via: SteamDB). It remains to be hoped that this will translate into a sufficient number of players to ensure an influx of new creations that are, after all, supposed to be at the heart of the game. It should be noted that the title has been gaining popularity as more trailers have been released (e.g., from December or January). Time will tell if the players will like this intriguing gameplay idea.
Price and editions
Meet Your Maker will debut on PC (Steam), PS4 and PS5 consoles (PS Store) and it is already available on Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X (Microsoft Store). The game is priced at $29.99.
In addition, the game is available for purchase in a Deluxe version for $34.99 (including a 10% discount), which (in addition to the game) offers skins for the hero and weapons, as well as exclusive blocks for creating a fortress.

The title is optimized for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit versions). The developer did not specify the required amount of hard drive space - this, however, can be variable, depending on the number of downloaded maps.
