Meet the Toreador Clan from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
Paradox Interactive introduced another clan of vampires from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. This time we learned more about Toreador faction, obsessed with beauty in every character, even its most degenerate forms.
After three weeks of entries by the creators of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, we already know two of the five vampire clans that our "thin-blooded" avatar will be able to join. Now it's time for the third party, Toreador, also known as the "rose clan". Detailed information about them can be found on the official website of the game, and the video provided by the developer briefly describes the mentality of the members of this faction.
The Toreador clan was once one of the most influential parties in Seattle since its inception. Its members are obsessed with beauty, constantly searching for new experiences. As a result, many of them become increasingly depraved, while others desperately try to preserve what remains of humanity. We will find among them both great visionaries and talented artists, as well as stars of one hit and ordinary posers. However, at the start of the game you can see that the clan's influence has decreased, and although it is still one of the biggest in Seattle, it no longer plays such a big role in the life of the city as before.
In the context of the game, this adoration of beauty will be visible in two disciplines. The first of them will make the hero's Presence itself impress the adversaries. In the case of Awe, they will continuously admire our avatar, unable to focus on anything else. However, the use of Entrance will result in a group of admirers following the vampire, effectively distracting enemies. None of these skills will break the Masquerade, which cannot be said of the abilities of the second discipline - Celerity. As the name suggests, using it will allow you to significantly increase the speed of the hero to move with grace unattainable for other bloodsuckers. Unseen Storm will allow you to perform an instant sprint to confuse enemies and knock down those who stand in your way. Accelerate, in turn, will speed up the vampire so much that the bullet time mode, known from numerous other games, will be activated, slowing everyone around.
This is not the last clan we will see in the game. The vampire created by us will be able to join five different factions, and it is possible that there will be other factions as well. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will debut next year on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
