Mecha Break is an upcoming multiplayer title with, yes you guessed it, mechs. The game has an ongoing playtest on PC, so you can check it out on Steam (keep in mind that the article is published on August 9). However, console players are becoming restless. They would like to play the game, too. Can they? When will the console release take place? Let’s answers those questions.

Can you take part in current Mecha Break test on consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox)?

The short answer is “no”. Unfortunately, developers have informed that this test is only for Steam users. However, there is a great chance that console players will be able to check out the game before its official release, too.

We also understands the expectations of console players. While this test is limited to PC, the team is actively working to ensure a great experience on consoles in the future. In future test phases, the team hopes to include more platforms, allowing players on different devices to experience the game.

As you can see, there are plans to include console players in the future playtest, you must be patient. It is possible that a chance to play might appear sooner rather than later, at least for Xbox players. At the end of Mecha Break trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, there is information about beta in August 2024. So, it seems that we may expect something this month. It is unknown if PlayStation players will also get an opportunity to test the title the same date.

Mecha Break – Console (PS4, PS5, Xbox) Release

Do you wonder when Mecha Break will be available on consoles in full version? So, first of all, according to the PlayStation World premiere trailer, the game will be released only on PS5. Sadly, it seems that PS4 players will not be able to enjoy the title at all. Of course, Xbox Series X/S will also have its own port.

So, when can we expect the game? According to the aforementioned Xbox Games Showcase trailer, the game will be released in 2025. It is possible that it will be available simultaneously on all platforms, but we can’t be certain. We need to wait for more information.
