Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero is a difficult game. It is easy to get beaten even by AI, not to mention players. To have a chance to win, you have to master dodging. In this guide we will tell you how to do it and how to use Sonic Sway (cool move, which will give you advantage over enemies).

How to Dodge Behind the Opponent in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

As you might have guessed, timing is essential in dodging. You have to press the proper buttons in the right time, a millisecond before the hit lands on you. It is difficult, but possible to master. If you do it correctly, you will teleport behind an opponent. If you want to train this skill, pick “High speed evasion” lesson with Piccolo. To use this move you have to press your guard button. Below you will find proper keys for different controls:

  1. Classic – B (Xbox) / Circle (PS5 DualSense),
  2. Standard – RB (Xbox) / R1 (PS5 DualSense),
  3. Keyboard – E.

How to use Sonic Sway in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

As in the case of Dodge, Sonic Sway can be used if you press the proper button just before the hit. However, in this case, there is another factor – the incoming attack must be a rushing one. Otherwise, Sonic Sway will not trigger, as the regular counter will start. To use this move you have to master Piccolo’s lesson called “Super perception”. However, it is not the best way to practice this skill. Pick a training battle and set the AI aggressive stance on Rush attacks. Below you can find different control patterns:

  1. Classic – B + Y (Xbox) / Circle + Triangle (PS5 DualSense),
  2. Standard – B (Xbox) / Circle (PS5 DualSense),
  3. Keyboard – Q.

If you want to learn more about the game, we have prepared other guides. For example, read how to switch characters and transform, beat Ape Vegeta or unlock all characters (including Black Goku).
