Marauders is an online shooter that debuted in early access this week. The title offers a progression system in which character prestige plays an important role. In this guide you will learn how to earn it and what you can use it for.
How to get prestige in Marauders?
While playing Marauders, you will perform a number of contracts and kill other players and NPCs. For these activities you will receive experience points (if the raid is successful the value of XP received will be doubled). In turn, with their help you advance to higher character levels.
When your character reaches level 40, you can decide how their further development will proceed. You can either continue to level up, or reset the progression and receive Prestige Tokens. If you choose the second option, your character will return to level one. This means that you will lose all your equipment and accumulated XP, and your account balance will be $20,000. On the other hand, however, you will be able to unlock valuable upgrades.
What comews with prestige in Marauders?
The benefits of resetting your character and getting a Prestige Token show when you perform the whole process several times. You will then be able to unlock a number of upgrades that will make your gameplay easier.
Prestige Tokens can be used in the following ways:
- Unlocking ship space. This will enable you to purchase additional ships. You will gain a total of 3 additional hangar spaces by spending 5,10 and 20 tokens, respectively.
- Increasing the number of available slots in your character's equipment. You will unlock two additional slots each for 1,2,3 and 4 tokens.
- Unlocking the SAS Special Forces Pressure Suit for 1 Prestige Token.
Of these three options, by far the best is the first one. This is because it enables you to expand your fleet.
