Mainboard Prices For Intel's New CPUs May be Astronomical
The Z490 chipset offers from Gigabyte and MSI have leaked into the web. If we believe the rumors, we can expect really big price increases.

Chipsets for 10th generation of Intel processors can outperform their predecessors not only in technology but also in price. As noted by TomsHardware editors, the Ukrainian ITbox store has added many motherboards based on the Z490 chipset to its offert.
Below is a table comparing the prices of the Z490 models to their Z390 counterparts: both values are from the ITbox store, converted from Ukrainian hryvnias to dollars.

The most expensive product on the list is the Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Xtreme WaterForce. The mainboard costs about $1072.
As we can see, ITbox's offer featured 15 Gigabyte models - Z390 series from the same manufacturer consisted of 17 items. A small difference, and if we are to believe the leaks - quite possible. The situation is similar in the case of MSI. Only the Mortar is missing. The prices presented by ITbox are as follows:

Please note that this is only a leak. Mainboards from each manufacturer may ultimately have a completely different price. All we can do is wait and hope that they will not be as expensive in reality.
