Mafia Definitive Edition System Requirements; No Demo Planned
The system requirements of Mafia: Definitive Edition on PC were revealed. We also found out that there are no plans for a demo version of the game.
Thanks to a video published by TripleADigest, we've learned the system requirements of the PC version of Mafia: Definitive Edition, the upcoming remake of a classic game from 2002.
Minimum system requirements of Mafia: Definitive Edition on PC:
- CPU: Intel i5-2500K / AMD FX-8120
- RAM: 6 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 / AMD Radeon R9 280X with 2GB of memory
- DirectX: 11
- HDD space: 50 GB
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Recommended system requirements of Mafia: Definitive Edition on PC:
- CPU: Intel i7-3770 / AM FX-8350 4.0 GHz
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 / AMD Radeon RX 5700 with 4 GB of memory.
- DirectX: 11
- Disk space: 50 GB
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
As you can see, you'll need a strong rig to squeeze out every last drop from the game. The requirements concerned the version of Mafia: Definitive Edition made available to youtubers, so it's possible that the devs will manage to optimize the game a bit more. The release is close, however, so we can't really expect big changes.
Unfortunately, we won't have a chance to see how the game works on our hardware before the release. TripleADigest received confirmation from the publisher that there are no plans for a demo of the remastered Mafia.
It's interesting to note that if you have an RGB keyboard, its lighting will switch between red and blue when the police chase you in the game.
Mafia: Definite Edition is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will be released on September 25, this year.
