Destiny 2 The Final Shape offers a wealth of post-campaign activities. You can explore the newly opened Pale Heart and embark on the Alone in the Dark questline that sends you on a hunt for Lost Ghosts, fragments of fallen Guardians. By restoring them, you'll not only honor their memory, but also earn valuable rewards. This guide will help you find the location of Lost Ghost in the Illusion quest, hidden somewhere in the Sanctum of the Brood Queen.

Destiny 2 – How to Find the Lost Ghost in The Illusion

The Lost Ghost in The Illusion quest in Destiny 2 can be a bit tricky to discover, as the marker only indicates a general area rather than the exact spot. If you're having trouble finding it, here are some detailed steps to guide you:

  1. Scan the statue to get the Lost Ghost Telemetry in The Cunning mission.
  2. Head towards the Sanctum of the Brood Queen in Savanthun’s Throne World (you should ascend to the top of the building to reach the marker).
  3. Go all the way to the end of the long bridge.

  1. Pass the statue of a horse and look on the ground between two tunnels.
  2. The Lost Ghost should be nestled by the tiered wall. It’s a very small object with a flickering light, so it can be hard to spot.

With the Lost Ghost in hand, head back to Micah in the Arbor of Light, located within the Pale Heart. She'll bring it back online, and you'll be rewarded with an Ascendant Shard for your efforts.
