Lost Ark's Bot Deluge Continues; Players Retaliate With Memes
Despite the efforts of developers from Smilegate, Lost Ark still can't deal with the plague of bots flooding the servers. This pathological situation has led to the creation of many memes across the Internet.
The most popular MMORPG of early 2022 still seems unable to deal with the burning problem of a mass of bots, making life miserable for the innocent players. Lost Ark, despite the recent wave of bans that affected more than million accounts, is still a breeding ground for illegal accounts.
Although the creators ensure that they are aware of the scale of the problem and are working on a solution, the players are expressing their dissatisfaction loud and clear.
Bots are multiplying - the forums are livid
To get an idea of the level of irritation players caused by illegal activities in Lost Ark you just need to spend a few minutes on the game's official forum, or visit the threads dedicated to it on Reddit.
It seems that the situation has not improved, quite the opposite in fact. According to the author of the clip below - Reddit user Chufymufy - "another 200 billion bots" will have to be banned. This is of course a hyperbole, but looking at the scenes below, one might hesitate and ask themselves whether it really is an exaggeration.
Spawning hosts of "bot NPCs" can certainly cause sleepless nights for people who want to peacefully enjoy the world of Lost Ark. The following example, posted by user kamijoan, is equally telling.
Players are noticing that the most bots are in the initial locations.
"I started playing recently and am still leveling up and to my eye 3/4 of the characters I see around me are bots.
[Lost Ark's - ed. note] system is called Easy anti-cheat because it's so easy to crack. Any game that uses this software cannot avoid a large number of cheaters," writes Reddit user Joux2
Consolation memes
Comforting is the fact that players gathered around Lost Ark have not yet lost their sense of humor, and the bitterness associated with bots is the inspiration for a wonderful Internet creation that is memes.
- One of the users has taken the classic Jeremy Clarkson meme from Top Gear.
- Some would also find references to antiquity here - after all, Greek myth has it that one severed head of the Hydra was replaced by two new ones. A very apt comparison, except that in Lost Ark, in place of one banned bot, there are probably many more.

- There was also reference to the movie classics - Star Wars Attack of the Clones was renamed to Attack of the Bots.
Lost Ark players can only wait for better times and rush the developers in the process of improving the anti-cheat software. And, of course, they will continue creating memes.
