Lost Ark Joins Forces With The Witcher 3; Gets New Class
The developers of the popular MMORPG Lost Ark announced their collaboration with The Witcher 3 during the LOA ON Summer conference. In addition, many new features were announced, including a new character class - Aeromancer.
During the last conference developers from Smilegate did not spare announcements about their flagship production - Lost Ark. Some fans, however, will be most interested in the fact that the Korean MMORPG awaits expects an interesting collaboration - the creators announced a crossover with... The Witcher 3!
Lost Ark x The Witcher
During the LOA ON Summer conference, one fragment was devoted to the announcement of this unusual cooperation.
Below you can see the live recording from the conference. To see the fragment about The Witcher 3 skip to 2:29:45.
So far we don't know any details about the arrival of the witchers to the world of Lost Ark. We only got an image teasing the cooperation and a suggestion that its effects are to hit the game this winter - only on Korean servers.
If this is indeed the case, then it can be concluded that the rest of the world will be able to check out the Witcher event for themselves probably only next year.
New character class - weather girl
But man does not live by witchers alone. During the conference, the developers also gave us a trailer of a new character class, which will control the weather. We are talking about the Aeromancer (or rather Aeromanceress), whose abilities were presented on the video.
With the help of her umbrella she can summon powerful weather elements: defeat her opponent with the wind, burn them with the sun's rays, drown them in a downpour, bring snow, or even a storm or hail.
In combat Lost Ark's "weather girl" has to rely on high mobility, and her attacks can be combined in deadly sets.
Naturally, the developers announced a lot of other changes and improvements during the over two-hour conference (a summary appeared in the Lost Ark thread on Reddit). Everything points to the fact that the creators are busy and want to ensure a good reception for the new season.
