Long Gameplay From Little Nightmares 3 Shows How Co-op Changes Gameplay
An 18-minute gameplay video from Little Nightmares 3 gives a glimpse of the co-op mode, new to the series, as well as a look at the desert Necropolis.
Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco have presented just over 18 minutes of gameplay from Little Nightmares III. The footage is uncut and without commentary - contains "pure" gameplay from the third main installment of this platform game series, announced in August during gamescom Opening Night Live 2023.
What the demonstrated gameplay provides is the gameplay in co-op mode for two people, which is one of the main novelties of Little Nightmares III (previous parts of the series lacked this feature). At first glance, the platform-logic puzzles seem more interesting due to the separation of tasks between two players, although it should be noted here that the game can also be completed solo.
In the video we can also see a desert location called Necropolis. Like the locations from the second game, it looks very nice. At the same time, the change of scenery is gratifying. The new heroes, Low and Alone, in turn, seem just as likable as the Six known from previous installments.
You can watch the discussed gameplay above. Just keep in mind that it comes from the pre-alpha version of the game. Unfortunately, the footage does not include a release date for Little Nightmares III. All we still know is that the game is scheduled for release in 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne, XSX/S and Switch.
