Aragami Devs Declare Bankruptcy Because They 'Ran Out of Time'
Independent studio Lince Works, known for creating the stealt game series Aragami, has just announced that it is winding down the business. The reason is said to be the current economic situation.
Today, devs of the TPP stealth game Aragami brought disheartening news for fans of this game series. Lince Works has just announced that it will stopp work on new projects beginning with April.
The information about this sudden decision was given in a farewell letter from the developers, from which we know that the reason was the unfavorable economic situation, due to which the studio "ran out of time." In other words, it's all about financial problems.
In this regard, on Aragami 3 is not something we should expect. Fortunately, Lince Works has at least assured that the first and second Aragami will still be available for purchase on all platforms on which they were released. Network co-op gameplay won't be disabled either..
First Aragami, released in 2016, was warmly received especially by players on Steam, where 90% of their reviews are positive. The sequel to the stealthy game about a warrior with supernatural abilities enjoyed a slightly worse reception (74% favorable reviews on Steam, average rating of 65/100 on Metacritic for the PC version). In addition, the first part of Aragami lived to see a story expansion, titled Nightfall.
