Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth Release Date [Update: New Yakuza in Game Pass]
We learned the release date for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Sega has also released new footage from this game and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
UPDATE:
During Tokyo Game Show 2023 devs announced, that the following games will be added to the Game Pass subscription: Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Ishin!.
The former will be added with its market release, which is November 9, this year. On the other hand, in the case of Like a Dragon: Ishin! it was only stated that the game will hit Game Pass this year.
Unfortunately, both game are to be available only by subscription on Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles. PC gamers won't be given the opportunity this time.
Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios held a presentation of Like a Dragon Direct, which showcased the upcoming games in the Yakuza series.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
The most attention was given to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the eighth main installment in the series, which is a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon from 2020.
- First of all, the release date was revealed. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will debut on January 26, 2024.. The game will be released simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5.
- The PC version will be sold on Steam and Microsoft Store.
- Two videos have also been released.
Gameplay trailer
The gameplay trailer shows, among other things, the combat system, new professions and numerous mini-games. Two things are worth noting:
- the game will feature full versions of arcade hits, such as the fishing arcade game Sega Bass Fishing or the brawler Spikeout;
- one of Kiryu's special abilities will enable him to "break out" of the turn-based combat system and slug enemies using arcade mechanics familiar from previous installments of the series.

Also not forgotten is Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. In the case of this game, the opening video of the campaign was presented.
Recall that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is heading for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5. The PC version will debut on November 8 this year, with console releases coming a day later.
