Leaked Air Date of Netflix' Witcher Confirmed
The Instagram account of one of the SFX specialists features an entry that confirms the approximate date of the premiere of The Witcher series by Netflix. A new photo of the series' logo appeared as well.
Rumors about the Witcher's premiere in December turned out to be true. A member of the SFX team thanked the entire team for their work on the series on Instagram. By the way, he confirmed that the production will debut in December this year. Admittedly, the exact date that appeared in the last leak (December 20) was not mentioned, but we know at least that the month is correct. There is also a photo attached to the entry, on which we can once again see the logo of the series, disclosed earlier along with the information about the end of the filming.
Based on recent reports, we can safely say that the production is now entering its final stage of preparation and the work is being taken over by SFX specialists. This means that the first trailers are coming soon, but until then we will have to deal without significant official information.
However, the fan blog Redanian Intelligence informed that it possesses photos from the set , which it has not yet had the opportunity to publish. The entry shows that we can expect interesting leaks in the near future, concerning, for example, the Brokilon forest.
The showrunner of The Witcher series is Lauren S. Hissrich, and the executive producer is Tomasz Baginski, creative director of Platige Image. The series will star Henry Cavill in the role of Geralt and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer. An entire season of eight episodes will be available on Netflix.
