Realms Deep 2023 was a feast for lovers of old-school vibes. Although the event was dominated by new game referring to the old solutions, it could not miss Kingpin: Reloaded, a remaster of the iconic FPS from 1999.
- During the show it was announced that Kingpin: Reloaded will debut on December 5, 2023.
- On that day, the game will be released exclusively on PC. PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch ports are also planned, but for now the developers are not ready to give a planned release date for these editions.
- The release date reveal was accompanied by the release of a new trailer, available below.
Presence of Kingpin: Reloaded at the event pleased many gamers. The project was announced in January 2020 and then it went off the radar. For the past few years, the developers have shared virtually no new information about the remaster, so some fans began to fear that the project had been cancelled. Fortunately, Realms Deep 2023 proved otherwise, so old-school FPS lovers could breathe a sigh of relief.
Recall that compared to the original, Kingpin: Reloaded will offer not only tweaked graphics, but also improved gameplay and a better balanced difficulty level. We will also get a new quest system.
