Kingdom Come: Deliverance PC may be pushed back to late 2016
The summer release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance PC is endangered. The game's publisher wants to launch the game simultaneously on PC and consoles, however, PS4 and XONE versions will need some extra time.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance PC may miss its summer 2016 release window. Eurogamer found out the yet unnamed publisher of the Czech medieval RPG wants to synchronize the launch of both PC and console editions, therefore pushing the former for several months. Warhorse say they are still working on the summer release date for PC, however, if negotiations fail, the game will probably come out in late 2016. Tobias Stolz-Zwiling told Eurogamer:
"The idea was to release the game in the summer and then to follow up with the console versions. Right now we are still indie developers but we are in negotiations with publishers to, well, we need someone to bring the games into the shops, so we need a distributor, and he kind of wants us to synch it with the console versions. We are still in negotiations, we will see. Best case for you will be summer this year for the PC version and then with the follow-up for consoles; or if the publisher wants us to synch it we will release everything let's say by the end of the year, so we will see about that."
Even if Kingdom Come: Deliverance PC really is delayed, we hope this will be for the best in terms of quality. And, hey, we still have Early Access, right? Kingdom Come: Deliverance is entering beta on March 3, 2016. This will bring about many new features, including, but not limited to: new weapons and gear, greater-scale battles, larger locations, story and cut-scenes, as well as crafting system. In the meantime you are invited to watch a new video update introducing fencing mechanics.
