Kingdom Come 2 devs reminded of game's grand scenario. In this aspect, Czechs' RPG beats Baldur's Gate 3

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's script may take away Baldur's Gate 3's Guinness record, and it certainly takes up a lot of space when printed by Warhorse studio.

The script for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is truly an impressive colossus. If you need a visualization of how big this script is, YouTuber Danny "ESO" O. has shared a photo from his visit to the Warhorse studio. The photo shows an influencer in front of a massive pile of double-sided printed paper containing the entire script for the second Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

At first glance, it might seem that this impressive script is still smaller than the current official record holder: Baldur's Gate 3. The script of Larian Studios is supposed to consist of over 2 million words and this position currently holds the Guinness record. Danny stated that the KCD 2 script is 1.7 million words long.

However, the YouTuber was corrected by the official Warhorse Studios account on X. The devs reminded (or reconfirmed) that the script for KCD 2 consists of 2.2 million words.

It should also be added that, according to some internet users, the record doesn't belong to either of these two titles. The visual novel Rance X: Showdown is said to leave both far behind, as the script of this visual novel game supposedly consists of - depending on estimates - 3.8 - 4.1 million words (via Noisy Pixel / Doddler on X), and a single playthrough of the game is supposed to take over 150 hours.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on February 4th on PC, PS5, and XSX/S.
