Jurassic World Aftermath is the New Jurassic Park Game
Thanks to the registration ofa trademark, we learned that work is underway on Jurassic World Aftermath, a new game set in the film universe of the Jurassic Park franchise.
There are many indications that another game set in the Jurassic Park universe will be announced soon. It turns out that Universal Pictures has recently registered a new trademark for Jurassic World Aftermath. The domain jurassicworldaftermath.com has also been registered.
This information was discovered by the fan website Jurassic Outpost. The application almost certainly concerns a video game, but it is not clear what hardware platforms it is going to, who is working on it or what genre it belongs to.
The editors of Jurassic Outpost speculate that the project may be built on the foundations of Jurassic World Survivor, the canceled survival shooter developed by Cryptic Seattle before it had to close. The action of the game was to take place after the events from Jurassic World, and players would try to survive on the island changed by the events from the movie. The title Jurassic World Aftermath also suggests a similar idea.
As a reminder, the latest game using this license is the economic strategy Jurassic World Evolution by Frontier Developments, which was released in 2018 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
