Approximate Release Date for Judas, New Game From BioShock Creator
We learned the approximate release date for Judas, the latest game from the BioShock creator. Most likely, we will wait a few more years for the title.
One of the announcements we saw at The Game Awards 2022 in December, was Judas. Ken Levine - an industry veteran known for developing the BioShock series - is responsible for this project. At this point we do not know too many details about the title. However, we do know that it is expected to launch in March 2025 at the latest.
This information comes from a financial report published by Take-Two, the company responsible for publishing the title. It shows that a total of 87 games are expected to be released by March 2025. Editorial staff of IGN decided to ask whether this number also included Judas, and received a confirmation.
While this is not a precise date, it gives some idea of how long we will have to wait for the title. Of course, one must bear in mind that there may be delays.
It is worth recalling that in last year Jason Schreier from Bloomberg reported that Ken Levine's latest project had been in so-called "development hell" for many years. The designer's ambitious plans were said to be far beyond the capabilities of his relatively small studio, Ghost Story Games. Interestingly, at this stage there was not even a name for the emerging game. If these reports are true, the future of Judas looks moderately optimistic - especially on the subject of a release date.
