The celebration of pop culture fans, which is undoubtedly San Diego Comic-Con, abounds not only in trivia from the world of cinema. This year's edition of the festival also brings a lot of attractions for video game lovers.
One of them was undoubtedly a panel attended hosted by representatives of Warner Bros. During it, Patrick Redding - creative director of Gotham Knights - revealed some details about that game (via IGN).
The conversation touched on the subject of the Joker and the presence of this iconic character in the game. The man's answer will probably sadden many fans of this arch-villain, as he will not appear in the title. It is likely that instead of him players may encounter his iconic companion - Harley Quinn. When asked about her appearance, Redding replied that he "neither confirms nor denies her presence in the game."
As it turns out, not only the absence of the Joker will be strongly felt in Knights of Gotham. Players must also prepare for the absence of Batman a.k.a. Bruce Wayne. In this case, the creators also make things clear.
"Batman is really dead and remains dead at the of the game," dispelled doubts Redding, referring to fan speculations that the developer's announced death of the Man-Batman will in fact turn out to be some kind of mystification.
To sweeten the deal, we have a new trailer for Gotham Knights, featuring the character of Batgirl. Above you can see how this heroine performs in action.
Finally, let us remind you that Gotham Knights will debut on October 25 this year on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
