Jagged Alliance 3 Release Date Sooner Than we Thought

Jagged Alliance 3 will launch this summer, but we'll have to wait a little longer for full mod support.

Developers of the new Jagged Alliance have finally revealed when exactly the game will hit the market. Jagged Alliance 3 will be released on July 14 on PC.

In addition to announcing the release date on Twitter and Steam THQ Nordic has released a new trailer for the third Jagged Alliance on YouTube. You can watch the footage, which discusses the game's most important features (and demolishes the series' spin-offs), below.

The announcement came rather unexpectedly. Yes, the developers have by no means went dark in recent months - for example, they regularly held broadcasts dedicated to the game. Nevertheless, they only mentioned the summer release date less than two weeks ago (before that they didn't bring up the subject at all), and even that only in passing, sort of, when revealing the "tactical" collector's edition.

So we could expect to wait until one of the many summer presentations for the exact release date. Bigger pessimists might have been betting on revealing this information only at the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2023 event, which will take place on August 11.

In addition to the release date, the developers revealed another important piece of information. Jagged Alliance 3 will receive extensive mod support upon release - although at first the game will only allow for simple modifications, such as changing weapon stats and difficulty levels.
