„It Was the Ugliest”. This One Thing from Friends Made Jennifer Aniston's Life a Nightmare
Jennifer Aniston, one of the stars of the hit sitcom, confessed what made her life a nightmare during the filming of Friends. The actress had a huge problem with it, despite the fact that many women in the world were thrilled about it.
Friends is a television phenomenon – the TV series, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, won the hearts of viewers around the world and is still hugely popular and influences popular culture today. It has also set trends in the past, as with Rachel's famous hairstyle, in which many women could be seen.
However, for Jennifer Aniston, who was forced to wear this hairstyle for the TV show, it was a nightmare. The actress confessed that it created numerous problems and without the help of a stylist she couldn't tame it, which made things difficult on a daily basis. In addition, the actress believed that Rachel's hairstyle was ugly and didn't fit her at all, something that many women who were inspired by her look from Friends must have disagreed with.
Speaking to Allure, the actress criticized the famous Rachel.
I love Chris [McMillan], and he’s the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look. How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen.
And during an interview with The Telegraph, Aniston talked about the difficulties she experienced because of Rachel, which became a nightmare for her. The actress confessed that maintaining the hairstyle was not easy and in fact only McMillan was able to style it for her, she could not manage it herself.
I had to see him every six weeks to keep this darn thing up, though, because it was a “hairdo”. It was a pain in the butt, to be honest, one of the hardest hairstyles to maintain, unless Chris did it. I’ve got very thick, full hair so it would take on a shape of its own that I didn’t always want. I don’t think I looked very good with it.
It is not at all surprising that Aniston eventually parted with this hairstyle, burying the famous Rachel. The character she played has since worn slightly simpler hairstyles, which certainly suited the actress much better, who no longer had to rely solely on her stylist.
Lisa Kudrow also had a certain thing that irritated her during the filming of Friends, which even interfered with her scenes.
