The plethora of movies and TV shows has made the Marvel Cinematic Universe grow to unimaginable proportions. Now more titles must be added to the number of canonical productions, because we already know that Netflix's shows belong to the MCU.

This was confirmed in a recent interview with Screen Rant by Brad Winderbaum, executive producer of the MCU. And although in his statement he only mentioned Daredevil, one can guess that other series created by Netflix also belong to the canon.

The question of adding Daredevil to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is no coincidence. In just a few days, Disney+ will see the debut of Echo, in which the Devil from Hell's Kitchen is expected to play an important role. The question of whether Netflix's show belongs in the canon has been asked by fans since the series premiered on the platform.

And while one might have expected an affirmative answer, given that Daredevil saw several times references to fighting aliens or the appearance of the Hulk, the canonicity of Matt Murdock and other characters was not confirmed. Charlie Cox himself returned to this character on the occasion of Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, although it was not stated that this was his version from Daredevil.

Finally, let's recall that on January 10, another show belonging to the MCU will debut on Disney+ - Echo. It will focus on the story of the title character, which fans of the universe may have met in Hawkeye.

Played by Charlie Cox, Matt Murdock will not be the only character familiar to Marvel fans, who will be seen in the upcoming Disney series. One of the leading roles will be played by Vincen D'Onofrio, reprising his role as Wilson Fisk.
