Is Acrobatics in PoE 2 worth it? Mechanics Explained
The working of some of the passive abilities in PoE 2 is not easy to understand. One of these is Acrobatics. In our guide you will learn how to use it.

The passive skill tree in Path of Exile 2 can give many players a headache, especially those who are new to the title. Not surprisingly, some skills can be more incomprehensible than others (other mechanics are also complex, so visit our guide to learn more about them). One of these is a passive called Acrobatics. If you don't fully understand how it works, you can find this out in our article.
How Acrobatics works in Path of Exile 2
Acrobatics is a passive skill that you can find on the right side of the tree (type this name in the in-game skill search engine to highlight it). It is the so-called Keystone. They stand out from other skills not only in size, but also thanks to a powerful buff (sometimes even a debuff).
Acrobatics allows you to evade all hits, however, the cost of this is a 70% lower Evasion Rating. So, what does this actually mean?
The Evade stat gives you a chance to avoid Strikes (melee attacks) and Projectiles. By unlocking Acrobatics, you will be able to dodge not only those mentioned above, but all kinds of attacks, also powerful, impossible to block AoE skills. This is a great mechanic that works perfectly especially for boss fights. However, be aware of the debuff, which will take away 70% of your Evasion. Therefore, you will be easier to hit and get more damage. You should only consider activating this passive when you upgrade Evasion significantly or when you are fighting a powerful boss that frequently attacks with area-of-effect abilities.
