Infection Free Zone (IFZ) - Can People Work at Night? Answered
If you wonder how to make your people work at night in IFZ, it might not be as easy as you think. Here you will find all the information that you need about night shifts in this game.
There was a time in the early 2010s when zombie games poured out like a river during storm. Nowadays we don’t see as many titles featuring undead in the modern world setting. Ironically, this genre about walking corpses is not dead yet. Quite the opposite – a good portion of contemporary titles are a breath of fresh air. Just recently a new strategy set in postapocalyptic, zombie ridden world has been released. Infection Free Zone lets a player choose their stronghold in almost any place on the planet. A key to survival in this production is wise management of your workforce. In order to maximise efficiency, many fans wonder if it’s possible to make your people work during the night. Let’s see what can be done about night shifts.
Can people work at night in IFZ?
Dire times call for dire measures. When martial law is declared and zombies are at large, no one even thinks about labour ethics. To maximise survival rate and avoid gruesome death from the hands (or jaws) of undead, most of the leaders would send people to work 24/7 without second thoughts. Understandably, that’s what we would like to do in Infection Free Zone as well. Can we though?
As of now, the answer is clear – it is not possible to make people work at night. However, this is not the whole story. There is an option to send some people armed with weapons to sniff around and scavenge items, like for example tools. If you haven’t saturated all the available squads, you can create additional ones with melee weapons to gather some resources during the night. Then, you can disband them in the morning.
Of course, it’s very risky since during the night zombies’ activity raises. If you are struggling, stick to safe tactics. Due to that, you have to make sure that you can do all that’s possible during the day. If you think you’re understaffed, there are ways to get more survivors arrive to your camp.
Bear in mind that IFZ just entered Early Access on Steam, which means that a lot of new features are planned to be added later on. Who knows, if the game will prove to be successful enough, we might even see console ports? For now, though, it seems like the developers have more pressing matters to address, as many fans experience a lot of bugs which is reflected in game’s user reviews.
