Path of Exile 2 is a hack'n'slash game in which players have to slay hordes of enemies while gaining better equipment and skills. The title offers a story mode that not only tells the fate of the continent of Wraeclast, but also introduces you slowly to most of the game's mechanics, the mastery of which will be crucial in the endgame. Among important introductory quests, you encounter The Trial of the Sekhemas, which introduces Ascendency (a subclass). However, players are wondering how to use Sacred Water, the currency that is gained by completing the trials. This is what you will find out in our guide.
PoE 2 - How To Use Sacred Water in Trial of the Sekhemas
Trial of Sekhemas is a story quest that you will receive midway through Act 2 (it is not the only one that can cause a problem at this stage, the other one is for example Ancient Vows, too). It is one of the biggest challenges for the player, as completing it will result in gaining Ascendency, which means getting access to one of the two subclasses. This will give you a new progression tree and points to use in it.
When completing trials, you will be able to stumble upon the Sacred Water. This is a special currency available in the Trial of the Sekhemas. You can use it in two ways:
- Buy things from the Merchants - they offer many benefits for the fee in the form of Sacred Water. You can spend your currency to renew honor (something like life points in the trials) or purchase unique buffs that will make it easier for you to pass the Trial of the Sekhemas.
- Spend them on keys - when you complete the Trial of the Sekhemas, you will find a room with many chests. Each one offers something different, moreover they also have various levels of rarity. By interacting with the Keth Forge, which is close to the chests, you can convert the remaining Sacred Water into keys to open these caches.
