Techtonica is a title in which we will come to explore an alien planet, collect resources, solve puzzles and create large, complex factories. The game is currently in early access, but still offers plenty of building opportunities. Unfortunately, some of the mechanics are not very intuitive, leaving some players unaware of how to use them. In this guide you will learn how to use RailRunner in Techtonica.
How to use RailRunner in Techtonica
Techtonica offers the technology to build Monorails. These are high-speed transportation lines that can be used to move items. You can find them in the Logistic tab. They are also useful for traveling long distances. After constructing them and setting them on the route you want to follow, you can hook up to them and move much faster than if you move on foot.
To use such a means of transportation, you need a RailRunner. It is an ulockable technology located in the Transportation tab. However, some players do not know how to use it. Once you have RaiRunner Magnet in your inventory, all you need to do is stand under the Monorail and hold down the button responsible for jumping. In the case of PC , the default is the spacebar .
Problem with Monorail in Techtonica
Some players are having difficulty getting under the Monorail, even if they stand under it and hold down the button responsible for jumping. If such a problem occurs, try positioning yourself slightly to the left or right of the Monorail and only then apply the described method.
It is worth noting that due to the fact that Techtonica is in early access and will remain so for about 3 years, the developers will continue to remove bugs and refine the title. Therefore, you should expect that for the time being you may have difficulties with some of the mechanics.
