SteamWorld Build is a new game developed by the Station. It is a combination of city and dungeon builder. You have to divide your attention between creating a prosperous settlement with happy people, and well managed mining business. At some point you may want to make your storage bigger, though. It is not so simple, as your Warehouses can’t be easily upgraded. Learn how to do it with us.

How to Upgrade Warehouse Storage in SteamWorld Build

Storage in SteamWorld Build works differently than in most city builders. It is not connected to Warehouse size or number of buildings. To make your resource capacity bigger, you have to mine.

If you want to make your storage better, you should look for Warehouse Expansion items. Look for them among trade offers when the train arrives, but more importantly – in chests. To find them, you must explore mine floors thoroughly.

However, it is worth it. Each equipped Warehouse Expansion will give you +25 global storage capacity and + 3 simultaneous deliveries (local building). So, it is a good idea to look for them. Open every chest you encounter.

Remember that even if you find this item, it will not equip automatically. You have to do it manually. It is easy to miss it among other things to do. It is a good idea to check what tools you have gathered and equipped from time to time. You can use the Item tab in Administration window to do this.
