Survivals are often in early access for many years. This seems to be especially true if you can fight zombies in it. One of these productions is 7 Days to Die, in which survivors from nuclear bomb explosion are plagued by a mysterious virus turning them into undead. Players take on the role of one of the remaining humans who must defend against threats. After 11 years in early access, this title is finally coming out in version 1.0. Although the release is still a month away, interested volunteers can already join its beta. In this guide you will learn how to enable Experimental mode.

How to Play 7 Days to Die (7DtD) Experimental

Launching the beta version on Steam is extremely easy. So, you shouldn't have any problems turning it on. Just follow a few steps:

  1. Find the game in your Steam library and right click it.
  2. In the list, find the properties and click on it.
  3. In newly opened window, choose “Beta” tab.
  4. Here, choose latest_experimental version from the list.

When you launch the beta version you will be left to wait until the additional files are downloaded. Then you will be able to enjoy the game.

You must remember, however, that the Experimental version can only be accessed by PC players via Steam. If you are playing on PlayStation or Xbox consoles, then you will have to wait for the actual release of version 1.0. Full game will be published exactly one month from now – on July 25, 2024. So, you won't have to wait too long.
