How to Get Snip Snip in Fallout Shelter and Is It Useful
The F2P game Fallout Shelter has added content referencing the TV series on Amazon, including the Snip Snip Mr Handy. Here’s how to get the robot and what to do with it.
The success of the Fallout TV series brought renewed attention to the games in the Fallout universe, and the free-to-play title Fallout Shelter has also enjoyed a boost. Noticing the demand, the developers have added a new questline referencing the adaptation, which awards recognizable characters such as Lucy, Maximus or the fan-favorite Mr Handy robot called Snip Snip. In this guide, we explain how to obtain it and what are its uses.
How to Get Snip Snip in Fallout Shelter and Is It Useful
Snip Snip can be obtained in Fallout Shelter in two ways. You can get it either from the Snipping Coupons quest, which is a part of a questline themed after the Fallout TV series, or at a very low chance as a random drop from a Mr Handy box. The Snip Snip you get as a quest reward is guaranteed, but the objectives can be time-consuming.
Snip Snip you can obtain in Fallout Shelter has a different color and name from the usual Mr. Handy. However, that is where differences end. The robot has the same functions as any other mechanic helper – it can be put into your Vault, or sent out into the Wasteland to collect resources. Another similarity between regular Handy robot is how they behave in regard to HP loss. They gradually lose their health, but they cannot be healed. You have to wait until their HP runs out and they explode and then repair them with 2000 caps.
Unfortunately for Matt Berry fans, just like he is absent in Fallout 4, you will not hear him voicing the snip-happy robot in Fallout Shelter, either.
