In Ark Survival Ascended, Silica Pearls are a vital resource as they are necessary to make electrical devices. However, they can be especially tricky to find as many spawn locations have changed from Ark Survival Evolved, and some of them require scuba gear to access. In this guide, you will learn where to look for them.

How to Get Silica Pearls in Ark Survival Ascended – early game

If you need to make Electronics in Ark Survival Ascended, you might be struggling to find Silica Pearls, especially before unlocking scuba gear that makes underwater exploration easier. Luckily, this resource can be gathered even in the early game. Here are spots you can check as a new player:

1. 33 – 15 – in the shallow water. Act quick as the area has many enemies.
2. 28 – 30 – in front of the Ice Cave, underneath the ice floes.

How to Get Silica Pearls in Ark Survival Ascended – underwater caves

Once you get diving equipment, you will be able to look for Silica Pearls in underwater caves, which you can find at the following coordinates:

1. 2.4 -– 17.2 – you should start at the edge of the water, facing the large island in the Snow Biome on the other shore. Dive directly down to find a narrow passage underneath a rock to the cave.
2. 10.3 – 2.9 – in the Snow Biome, top left of the map. Start on a small ice island, face East and dive down. Swim through a crack in the rocks to find the cave. There is an Explorer Note inside.
3. 88 – 2.5 – near the Red Obelisk, dive to the South-East. Look for a crack in the seafloor with mushroom-like plants.
4. 99.7 – 8.9 – also close to the Red Obelisk, look West and dive. The entrance is near the seafloor.
5. 95.8 – 34.5 – face South, dive and look for a large pink plant, the entrance is next to it. The cave is worth finding as it’s quite big.
6. 93.1 – 95.8 – near Herv Island, dive east. The entrance has a large yellow plant. Another large cave.
7. 1.7 - 95.7 – in the top right of the map, go down facing East. There is a lot of pink plants at the entrance.

You can also find smaller caves at: 51.3 – 4.6 (to the North), 55.5 – 97.7 (East),96.3 – 75 (South) and 97.7 – 8.9 (West).
