In Moonstone Island, you travel across an archipelago of floating islands as a rookie alchemist in-training. Over the course of your journey, you come across many intriguing characters. One of them is Waldo, a magician living in a moving house. In this guide, we explain how to find him.
How to find Waldo in Moonstone Island
Waldo, or the Magic Man, is an enigmatic character who appears randomly in Moonstone Island. He lives in a house on chicken legs, which can walk around on its own – a reference to the witch Baba Yaga in Slavic folklore. The name of the Magic Man, in turn, references an iconic series of children’s puzzle books where a character called Wally (or Waldo, in USA and Canada) hides among a dense crowd in detailed illustrations and the readers have to find him.
Waldo in Moonstone Island is just as difficult to locate, as he shows up by chance when you travel to other islands and there doesn’t seem to be a pattern to this. If Waldo’s moving house appears on your screen, you can walk inside and talk to him. Keep travelling around and you may be lucky enough to see him.
There is a way to make Waldo arrive for sure – however, if you use this method, you will not be able to interact with him. The Magic Man will show up if you’re defeated in battle and faint. He will let you rest in his bed to recover, then.

Therefore, we're unable to confirm it as of now. Keep meeting up with Waldo and the option might become available.
