How to complete The Baby’s Coming
This side quest starts in Cape Cold, it’s situated in the Northern Winterlands. You have to find the Flustered Villager in the center of town and talk to him. He will tell you that his wife is close to giving birth to a child, but the town’s Midwife is on a pilgrimage. He wants you to find her and lead her back to Cape Cold. This will complete The Baby’s Coming side quest.
How to find Midwife in Octopath Traveler 2
Firstly, you have to go to another region, namely to Flamechurch in Crestlands. The midwife can be found at the Flamechurch’s Inn (the eastern part of town). All you have to do is to talk with her and make her a follower. You can do it by any means, for example, hire, allure, or befriend her. The most effective way is to use Temenos’ Guide Path action. By obtaining information from the Head Cleric in the Flamechurch Cathedral, it is possible to lower the level required to guide anyone in the city by 10.
After that, you must take her back to the Cape Cold in Winterlands. While the Midwife is an active member of your party, talk with Flustered Villager and complete the mission.
As a reward, you will get:
