Planet of the Apes is a huge science fiction series that includes not only movies, but also books, comics and TV shows. It tells the story of the clashes between humans and intelligent apes, who fight each other for control. And while it all started with a book by French writer Pierre Boulle, we’ll now focus on the films themselves, of which there have been quite a few – including this year's upcoming one there are as many as 10.

Planet of the Apes films: chronological order
