Honkai Star Rail (HSR) - How to Remove Seals in A Dragon Gallant
The Patch 1.2 to Honkai Star Rail adds the quest titled A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant. In it, the player has to remove three Vidyadhara Seals. Find out how to do it in this guide.
The quest A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant is a part of the new Trailblaze Mission added in the 1.2 Patch update to Honkai Star Rail. An important part of the quest is removing three Vidyadhara Seals. Here is how to do it.

How to Remove the Three Seals in A Dragon Gallant, It’s Ocean Distant
The mechanic for this part of the quest is simple. To lift each seal, you have to light up four Percipient Sconces (large stone lamps) in the correct sequence. However, each of the three seals has different instructions on how to unlock it, and some hints are difficult to figure out.
You can break the seals in a different order than presented below. The following map shows the seals location:
First Vidyadhara seal
This part of the test is straightforward. Simply look at the stone below each Percipient Sconce to see how many quarters of it are lit up in blue. Start with the lamp that has one part of the base lit, later activate the one with two, three and then four.
Second Vidyadhara seal
The second seal is tricky, as there are no immediately visible instructions. However, once you beat the monsters guarding the location, you can pick up a Revelation Slate from the center of the stone lamp formation.
The symbols displayed have the same function as the glowing symbols on the stone bases for the first seal – they tell you the order of lighting up the lamps. Go from the Sconce with one triangle and make your way to the one with four.
Pay attention to the upper row and the lower left, as there will be two lamps next to each other. You have to light up the one marked on the Slate. Match the instructions to the shape of the overworld map to orient yourself.
Third Vidyadhara seal
To break the third seal, you need to interpret the meaning of murals on the walls next to each Percipient Sconce. Worry not, however, as we have solved the riddle for you.
The correct order corresponds to the stages of the Vidyadhara life cycle depicted on the wall paintings. If you approach the murals during the quest and Inspect each of them, Dan Heng will explain their significance. Do not miss this chance to learn more about the game’s fascinating lore.
