Succumb to Hogwarts Legacy's Magic Listening to a Beautiful Concert
A new video from Hogwarts Legacy has appeared online. This time it's a performance by a symphony orchestra, performing a piece reminiscent of music from the Harry Potter movies. In the background are new shots from the game.
Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. have already accustomed us to unusual promotional materials from Hogwarts Legacy. We recently received relaxing ASMR video - another after the one that was published in the summer - and now a recording of a musical piece has hit the web, titled Overture to the Unwritten and performed by a symphony orchestra, which is a sample of what the game's soundtrack will offer.
The sounds heard in the video are reminiscent of John Williams' compositions for the Harry Potter movies. From the video's description we can learn that the musicians responsible for Overture to the Unwritten are members of the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, Salt Lake Symphony Orchestra, as well as well-known local artists (including Nicole Pinnell, Nicole Klossner, Ryan Shupe, Abe Kaelin, Bart Olson, John Knudsen and Dune Moss). The recording, however, was recorded and mixed at Big Idea Music Studios in Utah.
Significantly, in the background, we see shots from Hogwarts Legacy, for example, student duels, the Great Hall or the school's meadows. We must admit that this kind of promotional material fuels the already large appetites for Avalanche Software's game, which will debut on February 10, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, XONE and XSX/S. A Switch version is also expected to be released at a later date.
