Hitman 3 Launch Trailer Promises a Dramatic Finale to the Trilogy

IO Interactive has released the final gameplay trailer for Hitman 3 to celebrate its upcoming release. It is meant to be an emotional culmination of the new World of Assassination trilogy.

The premiere of the stealth game Hitman 3 is imminent and even before its release it stirs up controversy, which the developers are trying to mitigate. One of the most anticipated games of January will go on sale this week and on this occasion Danish studio IO Interactive presented the game's final trailer. The new installment of the so-called World of Assassination trilogy is to be its conclusion. The developers promise a dramatic finale of the adventures of Agent 47, as teased on the trailer below.

Of course, the end of the World of Assassination trilogy doesn't have to mean the end of the Hitmanseries . However, it's possible that the creators will take a longer break from action games featuring the bald assassin, as IO Interactive is currently working on a game codenamed Project 007, with another famous agent in the lead role. That would be none other than Bond, James Bond, himself.

Hitman III will be released on January 20, 2021 on PC (for a year it will be available only on Epic Games Store), Google Stadia, as well as PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. On the last platform, the game will use cloud streaming.
