Hitman 3 in VR on Gameplay Trailer
IO Interactive presented new gameplay footage from Hitman 3 in VR version. This mode is intended for PlayStation VR users only.
The Danish studio IO Interactive announced last summer that Hitman 3 will get a VR version, just like the previous two installments of the new trilogy. In this mode we will be able to feel like a real hitman, going to Paris, Sapienza, Dubai or the Maldives, among others. On the occasion of the upcoming launch of Hitman 3, the creators presented new gameplay fragments from VR mode. You can watch the footage below.
The action on the gameplay trailer is, of course, presented from FPP and, contrary to appearances, the players will not get access to separate content, but will be able to complete the entire story campaign of all the installments of the new Hitman trilogy in VR. PlayStation VR mode is to be available on the day the game's release. Unfortunately, for the time being, only Sony console owners can don their virtual reality sets, but it's worth mentioning that a copy of the game in PS4 version is reportedlyrequired to play on PS5. It's not clear whether IO Interactive plans to make VR mode available to PC users in the future.
Hitman III will launch in two weeks' time, on January 20, 2021 on PC (one year exclusive deal with Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also be playable this year on Nintendo Switch using the so-called cloud.
