Hitman 2 Maps Now Available in Hitman 3 on PC

As promised, IO Interactive has released an option that enables PC players to import maps from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3.

PC players can finally import locations from the previous installment, Hitman 2, to Hitman 3 for free. The official website of the series published a guide explaining how to do it.

The whole procedure is not complicated. Just log in to your IOI account, and after confirming that you own the earlier game, you'll get access to the DLC called Hitman 2 Access Pass. The same system can be used to import elements of the first part of this trilogy, namely Hitman.

Let's recall that the whole confusion with transferring the locations to the PC is caused by the fact that currently Hitman 3 is available only on Epic Games Store, while the previous installments were also sold on Steam, among others. In the case of Hitman, the problem was smaller, as the game is available on EGS, and on top of that it given away for free a while ago. It is different in the case of Hitman 2, which so far has not been released on Epic Games Store.

Initially PC offered be no way to import locations from H2 bought on Steam, and players would have been forced to purchase that content again as DLC. The community's reaction was so negative that the developers backed down from this decision and promised that they would prepare a system that would allow for transfering maps from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3.

Hitman 3 debuted on January 20, this year on PC (Epic Games Store) as well as PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game proved to be a huge success. The game broke even in less than a week after release.
