IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. The Frontier mod for Fallout: New Vegas was finally released after years of development;
  2. It gives players dozens of hours of fun.

Long-awaited mod for Fallout : New Vegas - The Frontier - has been released. It offers dozens of hours of adventures, which corresponds to the size of the complete game. The creators of the project, The Frontier Team, promise a lot of quests, new mechanics and weapons, as well as locations to visit.

When the development team gathered a few years ago, the goal was to create a mod, the size of which would correspond to a completely new game set in the Fallout universe. Judging by the description on Steam, the intended goal has been achieved. Three storylines have been prepared, each taking about 15 hours. We will perform tasks for the New California Republic, the Legion of the North and the Crusaders of Steel.

New elements have been implemented in the mechanics. The most impressive, according to the developers, is the implementation of vehicles that we can drive. Care has been taken to ensure their variety and appropriate behavior of enemies. New weapons, pieces of gear and items have also been added. To ensure a satisfactory experience, the visual and sound effects when using an item have been refined.

The locations in Fallout: New Vegas - The Frontier also boast plenty of variety: snow-covered wilderness, rainy forests, and the foggy Oregon State. The developers of the mod promise a realistic representation of the city of Portland, squeezing the last drops of juice from the Gamebryo engine.

For now, the mod can only be downloaded from the Nexus Mods website. In order for it to work we need to install several other mods: 4GB Patcher, xNVS, JOHNNY GUITAR (version 3.40), JIP LN NVSE (version 55.83 ) and UIO (2.09 ). Also be warned that the installation file takes up over 12 GB.
