The first update for the tactical RPG Colony Ship has been released this year. According to the information provided by the Iron Tower Studio, conversations between team members are a key aspect of the patch - besides introducing new ones, the existing ones have also been enhanced.

The developers also addressed many other issues. As a result:

  1. they improved the graphics "in several areas;"
  2. they improved the journal entries;
  3. they introduced minor changes to the gameplay balance;
  4. they added new improvements to the implant;
  5. they eliminated numerous bugs and typos;
  6. they optimized the engine.

Furthermore, Iron Tower has announced that Colony Ship will receive extra updates throughout 2024, which are intended to be a result of a detailed analysis of the player's feedback. This approach is reminiscent of Larian Studios' policy towards Baldur's Gate 3. Belgian developers are also making long-term improvements to their game based on player feedback.

Colony Ship, which was released in version 1.0 in November of last year (after spending two and a half years in early access), was well received by players. The title has so far received 1,970 reviews on Steam, of which 87% are positive.

It's also worth noting that the RPG is now available on the Valve platform at a discounted price. Until February 26, the title can be purchased for $29.99.
