Here's Some Nice Concept Arts From Mafia 1 Remake
Hangar 13 has published a number of concept arts from Mafia: Definitive Edition, a remake of the iconic 2002 game. The title will debut on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 25.
Are you thirsty for more materials from the upcoming remake of the iconic 2002 Mafia? If so, the devs at Hangar 13 have prepared a series of concept arts for the game. Some of them can be seen in this news, the rest can be found on this website.
The graphics present various elements of Mafia: Definitive Edition - characters, cutscenes, fragments of missions, and a dark hotel room which provides a new background for the main menu or simply the streets of Lost Heaven from the 1930s. According to the creators' assurances, all the designs were prepared with attention to the smallest details. To quote Petr Motejzik from Hangar 13:
"We wanted the player to really feel like a member of a Mafia family; to feel the atmosphere in Salieri's bar where the Don's gang is headquartered. We put a lot of emphasis on the details and authenticity, so the players could go to the bar, kitchen, workshop, garages, Salieri's office, and so on. Everything is pulsating with life there. You can practically smell the cologne, expensive perfumes, and cigars smoked by the elegant men wearing suits, mixed with the smell of tires and oil from Ralphie's garage."
Whether the promises of the representatives of Hangar 13 will come true and whether they have actually managed to recreate the atmosphere of the game from eighteen years ago using new technologies, adding a lot of new details characteristic of the 1930s, will become clear on September 25th. The title will then debut on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
