Henry Cavill Is Playing Space Marine 2. He Admits That the Angel of Death Difficulty Is Too Much for Him
The most recognizable among the player actors could not let go of the new Warhammer even if it is extremely demanding.
Henry Cavill has earned the title of the chief gamer in the acting world, not only by sharing his love for games but also by engaging in projects related to his beloved titles. He used to play Geralt of Rivia, and now he's also involved in the Warhammer 40k screen adaptation project, which recently received a new shooter. Cavill couldn't let it go.
"This game is the mutt's...!"
Warhammer 40: Space Marine 2 was released in early September and has been receiving many positive reviews ever since, so it's no surprise that Henry (as a long-time fan of the universe) bought his own copy. The actor shared his first impressions on Instagram – these are extremely positive.
This game is the mutt's...!
Seriously, though, they've done pretty well eh? I couldn't complete the campaign on Angel of Death by myself (or at least didn't have patience to complete by myself!) which I love!
-- Henry Cavill
Angel of Death is the highest difficulty level in the new Warhammer, so Cavill wasn't afraid to ask for the help of other players. Some people are surprised that they may have had the opportunity to accompany the actor - but unfortunately for them, Henry has successfully concealed his nick, and even a good "zoom in" won't help here.
When the Emperor's best warrior plays, you know the game is good.

Maybe it's for the best? He later admits in the post that as a Warhammer fan, he is eagerly anticipating the further development of PvP in Space Marine 2. He has his own expectations, which - as he emphasizes - may be challenging to meet, as he lacks expertise in game development, leading to an excessive imagination. We have our fingers crossed for Cavill and hope that he will join the well-coordinated team in his cosmic voyages more than once.
