HD Cursor Pleases WoW Players
We can expect a new look of WoW's UI to appear only in the upcoming Dragonflight expansion, but players can already see the (pre)cursor of these changes in the game. Literally.
The interface in World of Warcraft can seem a bit dated. Fortunately, players don't have to wait for Dragonflight to experience a better version of the UI. Blizzard will introduce some changes to the cursor design as early as June 1.
Nice change, not too big
As one WoW player pointed out, the visual change introduced in patch 9.2.5 only affects one version of the cursor - the basic one. In low resolution there are still alternative appearance options, such as an envelope or an exclamation mark. Anyway, see for yourself.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to this amazing visual improvement, the update will also introduce the ability to resize the cursor. You can find it in the game options, in the Accessibility tab.
Was the cursor really low quality?
Some people found out only after this video was published that the cursor in WoW wasn't of highest resolution. While it was difficult to notice this on Full HD screens, players using 4K or 2K displays may have noticed slightly pixelated graphics.
New UI in Dragonflight
With the launch of WoW DLC announced earlier this year, we can expect a lot of new features. One of them will be a refreshed UI, which will not only be modernized in terms of appearance, but also in terms of options.
In Dragonflight we can expect a largely customizable UI, with each player being able to adjust it to their own needs. If you would like to learn a little more about it, Blizzard talks about this aspect of the DLC in the video below.
